Warranties

Encountering a faulty product can be frustrating, and while it's a rare occurrence for our customers, we understand the inconvenience it may cause. To streamline the resolution process, providing detailed information about the fault is immensely helpful. We prioritize efficiency and aim to swiftly replace any faulty products.

For private use, we commit to meeting our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. However, for business or commercial purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon, warranties will not be provided.

It is imperative that all products purchased from us are installed by a qualified professional (e.g., mechanic or auto electrician), as failure to do so voids any offered warranty. Verification of professional installation may be requested (e.g., receipts or letters from a mechanic). Failure to provide such proof may result in the rejection of warranty or fault claims.

Please note that returns and warranties exclusively cover the item itself, excluding any freight, labor, or additional costs. Damages due to misuse, breakage, or physical harm are not covered under warranty.

Returns

If you encounter an issue with a purchased item, kindly contact us directly.
- Returns must be initiated within 14 days of the original purchase date.
- Changing your mind is not a valid reason for return or order cancellation.
- Special order items are non-returnable.
-Up to a 40% restocking fee can be applied to all returns.
- We do not assume responsibility for selecting incorrect parts for your vehicle; no credit or return will be provided in such cases. Please reach our to one of the team if you have any questions!

To qualify for a return, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and packaging. Gift cards are non-returnable.

To complete a return, a receipt or proof of purchase is required. Please refrain from sending the purchase back to the manufacturer.

Partial refunds may be granted in specific situations, such as items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not attributed to our error.

Refunds

Upon receiving and inspecting your returned item, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed within 5 days, automatically applied to your credit card or original payment method.

In the event of a rejected return, you will be responsible for return shipping costs within 30 days, or the item will be destroyed.

Refunds exclude all shipping costs unless previously agreed upon with us.

Late or Missing Refunds

If a refund hasn't been received, check your bank account, contact your credit card company, and then your bank. If the issue persists, reach out to us at info@driftspec.co.nz.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds; sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace defective or damaged items. If you need an exchange, email us at info@driftspec.co.nz, and we will facilitate the return process.

Gifts

Gifted items are refunded through a gift credit for the value of the return. If the item wasn't marked as a gift, the refund goes to the original purchaser.

Shipping

You are responsible for return shipping costs, and these costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the return shipping cost will be deducted. Use tracked courier services for returns, and we do not take responsibility for items received damaged; no exceptions apply.
