LIQUI MOLY 3/4” BALL DRAIN COCK SET

Step 1: Wrap the thread of the ball cock with the PTFE thread sealing tape eight to ten times.

Step 2: Screwing in the ball drain cock: Important: When threading, make sure that it is threaded straight. Otherwise the plastic thread can be destroyed!

Step 3: Screw the drain cock into the canister cap with two turns.

Step 4: Insert disposable flat seal into the nut.

Step 5: Screw the canister cap onto the canister thread until it is tight. If the ball drain cock is not pointing vertically downwards, continue turning clockwise until the drain is pointing vertically downwards (6 o'clock position). Important: The ball cock must not be turned counterclockwise, as this will cause the ball-cock-canister cap connection to leak.

If the ball-cock-canister cap connection leaks, the tap must be turned completely out of the cap. Remove the old PTFE sealing tape completely and screw it back into the canister cap with the new PTFE sealing tape. 

When unscrewing from the empty canister and screwing onto the new canister, ensure that only the canister closure is turned and not the tap.

Before screwing onto the new canister, insert a new disposable flat seal into the canister closure.
