This high precision diff hat has been specifically engineered for the R200 Series of Differentials found on the following models:
This unit maximizes cooling with its large surface area and heat sink surface design. It also comes fitted with billet oil slinger(control?) inserts (see last images). The oil slinger inserts are designed to prevent oil becoming aerated by allowing oil to sling off the crown wheel, and allow a better distribution of oil between the crown and pinion gears. This in turn, increases the overall lubrication properties and temperature control of the differential. It comes fitted with -10 ORB oil cooler fittings and holds up to an additional 1 litre of oil over the OEM unit.
The PRP R200 Diff Hat also incorporates an internally baffled -6 ORB breather fitting and has the Drain/Fill Plugs moved over to the opposite side of the exhaust and extra clearance has been made.
